south of the
border
These are works dealing with definitions of where line becomes form,
form becomes space and space becomes active. They deal also with the definition
of boundaries in a subjective way.
South of the Border, is used as a figure of speech, sometimes lightly,
sometimes menacingly, as a reference to that "other place". One that is
away from the familiar and mundane. Possibly a place of adventure, good
life and freedom; but paradoxically also a place of tyranny, oppression
and fear.
